Announcing Applications for Ballaro Bridge: the Training & Development Program of Ballaro Dance!

Apply to join the Fall 2026 Cohort.

Ballaro Bridge dancers will gain professional experience while engaging with a supportive community. This 12-week Training Program runs from Sept - Dec including:

  • Weekly class & rehearsals with the Company (4-8 hrs./weekly: must be available Wednesdays 10am-2pm and Thursdays 5pm-9pm), 

  • Weekly mentoring/coaching with Artistic Director, Marisa f. Ballaro (sessions held in-person or on Zoom; flexible schedule based on Ballaro Bridge dancer availability), 

  • Matching with a Company dancer for support and guidance throughout the program, 

  • Being part of an innovative creative process with collaborators (musicians, filmmakers, photographers, designers...) 

  • Attending regular social meet-ups and developing relationships with the Company and its community. 

This Training & Development Program is ideal for: 

  • Recent college graduates,

  • Dancers relocating to NYC, 

  • Dancers looking for: professional experience, a supportive community, mentoring, development of technical skills, engagement in a creative process.

Program tuition is $855 and may be paid in full (due 9/22) or with three equal installments of $285 (on 9/22, 10/22, & 11/22.)

Applications will be accepted with rolling admissions. You will hear directly from Marisa f. Ballaro regarding your application with an invitation to audition on Wednesday, September 16. A virtual interview may be requested prior to notification of acceptance.
