TWELVE: Going The Distance

Twelve rounds. Five women. No holding back.

Set inside the charged atmosphere of a boxing gym, this high-impact theatrical dance follows a rising superstar, a fading referee and the figures who orbit them. Sweat meets spectacle as pounding beats collide with sweeping classical strings. Characters clash, alliances form and ambition burns through every round. Raw, physical and fiercely human, this 47-minute contemporary dance asks what it really costs to go the distance.

The performers’ movements felt new and exciting, blending the beauty of dance with the strategy behind boxing, immediately capturing my attention...an emotional and fascinating experience that stayed with me beyond the final round.
