On Sunday, May 10th Ballaro Dance premiered excerpts of Brothers and Sisters, new work by choreographer Marisa f. Ballaro. The audience was moved by the beauty of the dancing and
the rich discussion to follow with the choreographer. One audience member said she even felt the Holy Spirit present in the theater... the work is about the Roman Catholic faith experience
of Ballaro and the meaningful imagery, music, and stories experienced by the congregation. Six dancers tell stories through movement while embodying mercy, love, patience, strength, and
peace.
